Using on-line dictonaries

Hello, I was reading an article of my career, especifically programming.

Reading about the new version of linux ubuntu in:

http://www.ubuntu.com/products/whatisubuntu/804features/

The article talks about the new features of linux ubuntu 8.04, what you can find and what modules the programmers perform to simplify the use of ubuntu and give it more benefits.

I found two words and i didn't know what does it mean.

Paragraph:
"Music and video: Plug in your PSP, iPod, MP3 player; share playlists with your friends; buy in the creative commons online music stores, stream more live radio and plug in more devices with UPnP."

Word "stream": It has a lot of meanings, as a noun, as a trasitive verb and as an intransitive verb. The most relative to my reading was:

v.tr. Computer Science. To transmit (data) in real time, especially over the Internet.
So now I can understand where says stream more live radio, that means to tune radio stations in internet.

Word "UPnP": abbrebiation that means "Universal plug and play".

Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) is a set of computer network protocols promulgated by the UPnP Forum. The goals of UPnP are to allow devices to connect seamlessly and to simplify the implementation of networks in the home (data sharing, communications, and entertainment) and corporate environments. UPnP achieves this by defining and publishing UPnP device control protocols built upon open, Internet-based communication standards.
In other words this UPnP is the protocol or the rule in the operative system that allows to "connect" and "disconect" easely, or to plug and unplug devices and to use it just in the moment you conected!

Welcome to my new not banned blog

Hi, there! My name’s Pedro Bracho but you can call meon the cell phone. I’m from Valencia, originally. I used to live in Barquisimeto for 14 years, right now I live in Maracaibo, in Bella Vista. I’m 24 years old and I study engineering at URBE . My favourite subjects are Database and some programming ones.

I love reggae and techno music , dancing almost everything, to travel, surfing the net , teaching English, talking on the msn with my friends, and camping around my country.

I hate blogs because I’m banned, listening to regueaton, garbage on the street, the car horns, addicts to facebook cause they send me around 1000 mails per day.

My dream is to travel to Belgium, Greece, almost all of North-Europe and Argentina, visit the where all the genius where discussing about philosophy. Next year, I want to graduate from Engineering School and be a great manager. I also want to learn to speak French, and German. I’d love to work in an important company and buy a house, get married and start a family.

About English, I love to learn it but sometimes I hate to speak it. I work every day as a personal tutor of English, but after 9pm I want to change to another language. I think English is the most important language if you want to share with people around the world, to work abroad or just to understand most of the music and movies.
